QO Graduate Nets Two Scholarships

Rachel Sze, a recent graduate of Quince Orchard High School, has been awarded two scholarships this month.

 

A graduate has been awarded for her efforts.

Rachel Sze was one of four Montgomery County graduates of the class of 2012 to receive a scholarship from the Masonic Charities of Maryland for fullfilling criteria that included scholarship, leadership and community service.

She also won one of eight prizes awarded annually by The Washington Regional Transplant Community as a part of its "Legacy for Life" scholarship program. Each participant was asked to write a 1,000-word essay with the theme "Organ & Tissue Donation: Persuade Someone to Give the Gift of a Lifetime."

Sze's essay and the work of others will be featured on the WRTC's website.
