Shout Out to Wootton and QOHS Merit Scholars for 2011
Wootton and Quince Orchard students are among the Montgomery County Public School Merit Scholarship Award winners.
Wootton and Quince Orchard High School can boast seven National Merit Scholarship Award winners between them for the 2011 academic year.
In a public announcement on July 11 by Montgomery County Public Schools, 22 more students from the county were added to the list of 67 MCPS students who had already been awarded National Merit Scholarships this year, bringing the county schools' total for the year to 89.
The National Merit Scholarship Corporation recognizes and awards academic excellence and is considered among the most prestigious scholarship award programs for high school students.
