The Northwest Hockey Club -- consisting of players from Quince Orchard, Poolesville, Northwest and Seneca Valley high schools -- defeated Blake, 8-2, in the Patch Game of the Week, Friday, Jan. 20.

The Northwest Hockey Club knocked off Blake High School, 8-2, in the North Potomac-Darnestown Patch Game of the Week, Friday, Jan. 20.

The organization is comprised of players from four county high schools: Quince Orchard, Poolesville, Northwest, and Seneca Valley.

The Griffins were led by Seneca Valley's Alex Olsen with a four-point performance (three goals, one assist). Quince Orchard senior and team captain Reed Kaczmarek added a goal and two assists.
