Report: Proposed Shady Grove Arena Could Host Arena Football League Team
The Arena Football League is looking to expand into the DC area.
The Arena Football League could be coming to Montgomery County, possibly calling the proposed Shady Grove arena home, WTOP reports.
AFL officials sent a letter of interest to the Shady Grove arena developers, according to the report. The arena is likely to be built on land west of the Shady Grove Metro station and cost approximately $50 million.
