T-Shirt Design Winner Chosen for Kentlands/Lakelands 5K

Sixth-grader's Earth-friendly design sets the tone for the 18th Annual Run.

A rising sixth-grader is this year's winner of the 2011 T-shirt Design Contest, according to the Kentlands Community Foundation.

Isabel Osorio, a Kentlands resident, had her design chosen from more than 75 entries. She will receive a $50 cash prize.

Osorio combined visual elements from the race finish line with an emphasis on being green.
