The 64th Annual Montgomery County Fair opens August 10.

Since I was young, the annual trip to the Montgomery County Agricultural Fair has been one of the highlights of the year. Riding carnival rides, playing midway games, touring the barns, pens and other agricultural events, and of course, sampling the latest deep-fried-whatever.

Now, my children are old enough to attend, and I'm sure we'll start some new traditions of our own.
