A Montgomery Village teen and former Watkins Mill High School football player will serve 18 months in jail for a series of robberies committed on pizza delivery drivers last summer, The Gazette reported. Marcus Addison, 18, was sentenced to 50 years, with all but the 18 months suspended, according to the report. Montgomery County Circuit Court Judge Richard Jordan told Addison the suspended 48 years would "ruin your life if you find yourself in this situation again,” according to the report. Addison, of the 19000 block of Mills Choice Road, robbed six delivery drivers for a total of $540 from Gaithersburg-area Domino's Pizza and Papa John's Pizza restuarants at gunpoint. Police later determined the gun used by Addison was a pellet gun. …

A woman was punched in the head after the suspects demanded cash, police said.
Three boys, ages 15 to 17, were charged in an attempted armed robbery on New Year’s Day in the White Flint area, Montgomery County police said Thursday. Officers responded to the 5800 block of Nicholson Lane in North Bethesda at 5:48 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a woman screaming. The 56-year-old woman left White Flint Mall and was walking along Nicholson Lane when three suspects approached her from behind and demanded cash, police said in a news release. One of the suspects punched the woman in the head, according to the release. When the woman screamed, the suspects fled. Gaithersburg police are investigating an armed robbery at the Pizza Hut restaurant at 299 Muddy Branch Road, Gaithersburg police officer Dan Lane said. Officers were dispatched to the Festival Shopping Center restaurant at 1:43 p.m., Lane said. No further information was available, Lane said.

Robberies reported on Gum Spring Drive and Gallant Fox Lane
Montgomery County Police are looking for masked robbers who targeted victims in North Potomac on Monday, Nov. 19. At around 7:45 p.m., two men in wearing dark ski masks and all black clothes threatened the alleged victim with a weapon in the 13600 block of Gum Spring Drive, according to police. An hour later in the 14600 block of Gallant Fox Lane, according to police, masked men assaulted an alleged victim but were unsuccessful in trying to take property. Police said one suspect was wearing a green ski mask and the other was wearing a dark blue ski mask. In other police news, a residential burglary was reported in the 11300 block of Amberlea Farm Drive in North Potomac on Friday, Nov. 16. Police said the suspect knew the victim.

Surveillance videos show suspect using a stolen credit card at CVS on Veirs Mill Road.
Montgomery County police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect involved in an armed robbery that occurred in the Leisure World shopping center the night before Thanksgiving. Police have released surveillance footage showing the suspect using the victim’s credit card at a CVS store at 12209 Veirs Mill Road, in Wheaton. The suspect is seen in the videos with his face still masked as he enters the store and makes his transaction at the cash register. The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 20 years old, 5-10″, and weighing approximately 200 pounds. The Chipotle restaurant located at 564 North Frederick Avenue (in the Gaithersburg Square Shopping Center) was robbed on Oct. 21.
Seeking help from the public, Montgomery County Police Friday released video surveillance of the Oct. 21 armed robbery of the Chipotle restaurant at 564 North Frederick Avenue in Gaithersburg. Detectives said the suspect entered the rear door of the business at night as an employee was using the door to dispose of trash. The suspect displayed a handgun and forced employees into an office where the suspect then ordered the manager to open the restaurant safe and removed an undisclosed amount of cash, police said. Keishawn Pettaway, 25, of Gaithersburg, has been charged in a Dec. 30, 2011, armed robbery on North Summit Avenue.
A Gaithersburg man has been charged in a late 2011 armed robbery on North Summit Avenue, Gaithersburg police said. Keishawn Pettaway, 25, of Cinnabar Terrace, was arrested Wednesday and charged with armed robbery, use of a firearm, first degree assault, reckless endangerment, theft of less than $1,000, conspiracy to commit an armed robbery, and conspiracy to commit theft. On Dec. 30, 2011, a man was entering his residence on North Summit Avenue when an unknown male approached him, brandished a black semi-automatic handgun and demanded his wallet, police said.
