A strong-arm robbery was reported in the 11900 block of Roan Lane, North Potomac on Friday, March 15, at midnight. Police said a male grabbed a woman’s purse and cell phone and left in a dark blue or black four-door vehicle. Two vehicles were entered in the 300 block of Fleece Flower Drive, Gaithersburg between 9 p.m. Monday, March 11, and 6:50 p.m. Tuesday, March 12. Two vehicles in a driveway were entered by unknown means. Nothing taken. A theft from a vehicle was reported at Dufief Mill Road & Muddy Branch Road, North Potomac at 12:30 p.m. Friday, March 15. A purse was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

A 31-year-old Gaithersburg man was arrested following an alleged weapons offense at La Mexicana Restaurant, at 13060 Middlebrook Road, at around 1:40 a.m. Saturday, March 16. An aggravated assault was reported in the parking lot between Taco Bell and The Greene Turtle on Century Boulevard at 9 p.m. Sunday, March 17. A detailed description of the two males involved was unavailable. When does this all stop? Maybe the new gun laws should be reconsidered. I don't see such long reports in areas of Virginia. A person can carry their gun in Virginia.   more ›
