UPDATE—Eddie Lee Jeffries No Longer Missing

Police said the 23-year-old had been missing since Tuesday.

Update, Friday, 4:34 p.m. Eddie Lee Jeffries is home and is safe, Rockville City Police Department announced in a news release Friday. Police said the 23-year-old had been missing since Tuesday. --- Original—Police are concerned for a Rockville man reported missing after he failed to report to work and his cell phone turned up at a Washington, DC Metro station. Eddie Lee Jeffries, 23, of Bowie Road, was last seen leaving his residence on Tuesday, likely taking the Metro through Washington on his way to a dance studio in Capital Heights, police said. UPDATED: Missing Germantown Woman Located

Ashley Breana Funk, 22, had been missing for several weeks, according to Montgomery County police.

(Updated Tuesday, Feb. 19) A 22-year-old Germantown woman reported missing earlier this week has been located, Montgomery County Police said Tuesday. Police said Ashley Breana Funk, of the 13800 block of Bronco Place, was found safe. (Original) Montgomery County police are asking for help in locating a missing Germantown woman. UPDATE: Missing Teen Girls Located

A 12-year-old Montgomery Village girl and 14-year-old Gaithersburg girl had been missing since Jan. 23, police said.

(Update -- 9:10 a.m., Jan. 31) Montgomery County police said Karina Cornejo-Galdmaez, 12, and Rosa Rivas-Ascencio, 14, were located safe and unharmed Thursday morning in Wheaton. Updated Friday, Jan. 4, 2013 — A Germantown woman police reported missing Thursday night was found unharmed in Germantown on Friday, Montgomery County Police announced on its newsblog. Original — Montgomery County police are asking for the public’s help in finding a Germantown woman who has not been seen since New Year’s Eve. Police said the woman's family last saw Bernice Pauline Colaco, 36, leaving her home in the 20100 block of Gunners Terrace at around 10:30 p.m. on Dec. 31. Resident found Michael Steven Poe unconscious in an apartment building, WTOP reports.

Update -- 10:45 a.m., Jan. 3, 2013 Police have confirmed the body of a man found in the ventilation shaft of an apartment building in Northwest Washington, DC, is that of a missing 23-year-old Clarksburg man, WTOP reported. Michael Steven Poe was found after a resident in The Haddington apartment building at 1840 Biltmore St. NW called 911 Wednesday night and reported an unconscious person, according to the report. What's your point? Maybe he had a friend in or close to DC and decided to go to him/her instead of the friend visiting him in Clarksburg, which last time I checked doesn't really have much of a "nightlife", even though I know there are places closer to Clarksburg he could've gone. He fell down a ventilation shaft at an apartment complex. So, that really doesn't have much to do with the bars there…   more ›

Police Search for Rockville Girl Missing for More Than Two Months

Maria Ann Ward, 17, may be in the company of a man, police say.

  Montgomery County police are asking for the public’s help in finding a teenage girl from Rockville who has been missing for more than two months. Maria Ann Ward, 17, of the 500 block of Baltimore Road, was last seen on Aug. 1, according to a county police news release. Police released a description and photo of Ward on Friday. Ward is described as white, 5 feet tall, and weighing 130 pounds with brown eyes and medium-length black hair. Ward is known to frequent downtown Wheaton and Washington, DC, the release said. Police and family are concerned because friends and family have not seen or heard from since her disappearance Aug. 1, the release said. Updated: Missing Potomac 15-Year-Old Has Been Located

Victoria Yeutter, a freshman at Connelly School of the Holy Child, was last seen in the early morning hours between Sunday and Monday. The 15-year-old's disappearance sparked a social media campaign looking to find her.

An updated version of this story was published Thursday, here. Update, Wednesday April 11, 7:30 p.m.: Victoria Yeutter has been found and is in police custody waiting to meet with her family, according to a friend of the family, Fred Morris. "She's been found, she's been located," Morris said. The Yeutter family is traveling to meet Victoria tonight, who was located out of state earlier today. Morris and his family began the social media campaign on Facebook to help find Victoria. They have updated the site to let followers know she has been located. Family, friends and strangers alike are searching for a missing 15-year-old Potomac girl, after she ran away in the early morning hours of Monday, April 9. Less than 24 hours after Victoria Yeutter was reported missing, hundreds of Facebook posts, Tweets, Tumblr posts and blogs are calling for her safe return.
