Update -- 10:45 a.m., Jan. 3, 2013 Police have confirmed the body of a man found in the ventilation shaft of an apartment building in Northwest Washington, DC, is that of a missing 23-year-old Clarksburg man, WTOP reported. Michael Steven Poe was found after a resident in The Haddington apartment building at 1840 Biltmore St. NW called 911 Wednesday night and reported an unconscious person, according to the report. Maria Ann Ward, 17, may be in the company of a man, police say.
Montgomery County police are asking for the public’s help in finding a teenage girl from Rockville who has been missing for more than two months. Maria Ann Ward, 17, of the 500 block of Baltimore Road, was last seen on Aug. 1, according to a county police news release. Police released a description and photo of Ward on Friday. Ward is described as white, 5 feet tall, and weighing 130 pounds with brown eyes and medium-length black hair. Ward is known to frequent downtown Wheaton and Washington, DC, the release said. Update, Wednesday April 11, 7:30 p.m.: Victoria Yeutter has been found and is in police custody waiting to meet with her family, according to a friend of the family, Fred Morris.
