I had a friend visit me recently. Her travels take her to many states in this country, and she commented that Maryland has the worst, most inconsiderate drivers that she has ever encountered.

It is troublesome that there is so much cruelty today ,especially among kids toward their peers. Years ago (fifties and sixties), kids didn't abuse each other to the degree that I see today. Even in the seventies, when I taught school, I never saw this type of thing going on. Parents need to teach their kids kindness at an early age. Maybe that's what's lacking today. Obviously, this kid was hurting very badly with personal issues, and the bullying may have caused him to snap.

ReplyAlthough I think it's a good idea to keep down the speed, if you are coming out of that side street onto Seven Courts, it's a little hard to see cars coming up the hill. The device blocks the view a little, and cars have to creep out to see what's coming. It's already hard to see oncoming cars because of the hill. This may actually cause some accidents.

I was offered a job there years ago when it opened originally. The hourly wage was way better than minimum, I can tell you. I'm surprised that you felt they were "the worst employees". Maybe it's just my opinion, but the employees always seemed friendly and professional when I shopped there.

ReplyI wish that the curfew was in effect for Friday and Saturday nights at the White Marsh Mall also. I will not shop there either of those nights.
