Wild Edible Foods Workshop

Learn the most common (and nutritious) edible and medicinal plants on your property and in the local woods, and how to use them!

The event starts with a guided edible plant walk through Muddy Branch State Park by Kate Gold and Bryan Aldeghi. You'll have a chance to hone your identification skills and learn the ins and outs of wild food collection. Once you've walked and learned yourself up an appetite, return to the Integrated Pathways Center for Personal Growth for a hearty, homemade, wild foods lunch, continuing discussion and a chance to practice your new skills.

You'll take home with you hands-on experience to keep you full and healthy for a lifetime, a Quick ID Guide to the most common edible spring plants in our area, an Edible Plant Map, and access to Kate's extensive Ebook with an in-depth, full-color edible plant guide to our area including wild recipes, homemade medicines and more!
