Power Outages in North Potomac and around Montgomery County
Violent storm knocks out electricity for 93 homes near Quince Orchard High School
Update at 12:43pm: Customers now have power in the Winsap Drive area. But, there are several homes with power out now along Lloydminster Drive (off of Jones Lane). CA Pepco crew is on-site fixing a power line to restore electricity there. Power should return within the hour.
Pepco's Storm Center map indicates that there are 93 customers currently without power due to last night's thunder storm. Most of the homes affected are on or near Winsap Drive, off of Quince Orchard Road.

The outage was reported at 2:45am. Crews are currently on-site working to restore power to the area.
Peoco estimates that they will be able to restore power by 10:30am this morning.
